Daniel’s work as a cinematographer has played in theaters and festivals around the world. Feature film credits include Test, which was awarded the Grand Jury Prize at Outfest, played the Berlin International Film Festival, and was a New York Times Critics’ Pick, and award-winning Delinquent, which is available to stream on Amazon Prime. Television credits include Nightmare Time, a pilot for TBS produced by and starring Aubrey Plaza, Bebé, an award-winning short purchased by HBO, series for the History Channel, Sundance Channel, IFC, and a mini-series for Hulu titled The House: A Hulu Halloween Anthology, one episode of which he also wrote and directed.

 

Daniel, who has New York roots and currently resides in Los Angeles, received an MFA in Cinematography from the American Film Institute (AFI) and a BA from Amherst College.
